Kadō (華道, "way of flowers"), also called Ikebana (生け花, 活け花, "arranging flowers" or "making flowers alive") is the Japanese art of creating and appreciating of floral arrangements by using seasonal flowers along with various materials. Etiquette / manners of flower arrangement Kado is based on the belief that all plants and flowers have a life like humans, and its beauty is represented in the arrangement.

This photoshoot was inspired by the Japanese culture and beauty. Our stylist arranged the hair and the entire outfits from free fabrics pieces in combination with handmade paper, which she delivered and created the origami flowers & fans. The make-up was inspired by Japanese theatre/performance traditions with contemporary twist to look softer and buildable.
